Playa Coco Beach Pictures
The main beach in Playa del Coco is directly in front of the town. If you are staying in town, it will never be more than a ten minute stroll away. Artisans offer their wares from tables and stands along the street that goes to the beach.
Fishing boats work from this area, because Coco does not have a marina. (This means riding out to your boat in a small panga or skiff.)
The beach depicted in this picture is farther south, where some of the surfing boats are based. You can surf Witch’s Rock, Ollie's Point and other world famous waves from here.
This is an excellent playa for those wishing to get away from the crowds at the main beach. Both are noted for a brownish sand, unlike the dazzling white sand of Flamingo.
