There are cultural activities at The National Theater, like Philharmonic Orchestra, pictured to the left. It's a truly beautiful building from the 1880's and was designed in the style of the Paris Opera house. A good half hour up a steep mountain road, located above Aserri, and overlooking San Jose you'll come to the restaurant Ram Luna. At an elevation of 4700 ft., Ram Luna offers the absolute best views of San Jose at night.
A lit fireplace and candle lit tables provides a comfortable elegance to enjoy chef Rogelio Carballo's boundless dinner buffet. In addition to the wide selection of delicious food and drink, there's great live music. The evening continues with a unique cultural show from the "Payaso's of Aserri" as the romantic evening takes on a more "party atmosphere" and culminates with a small fireworks display.
