Day 01
Our representative will meet you at the San Jose Airport. Welcome to Costa Rica briefing and transfer from Airport to hotel for check in. Un-pack, settle in, with rest of afternoon to enjoy the pool, hot tub, and free happy hour in the Cantina lounge. Best Western Irazu Lodging
Day 02
Early morning breakfast, then it's off toward the Poas Volcano and the famous La Paz Waterfall and gardens. Next on the tour is the Sarapiqui River. You'll board a jungle boat for a river wildlife tour, birds mammals and the occasional crocodile inhabit this dense part of the jungle. Heading back toward the central valley you will go through the primary rainforest of Braulio Carrillo National Park. Breakfast, and Lunch included Best Western Irazu Lodging
Day 03
Today you'll have an one o'clock departure for the San Jose city tour. See daily life in San Jose from the "Ticos" point of view. Visit the National Theater, a copy of a Paris Opera House, and see the the National Museum, the University of Costa Rica, the Metropolitan Park (La Sabana), Legislative Assembly, and other spots of general interest. Day 04
Relax a little, sleep in, sunbathe at the pool, jacuzzi or use hotel gym. Today is available to enjoy the hotel facilities, schedule an optional day tour, or perhaps some shopping. Best Western Irazu Lodging
Day 05
Today is pure adventure! Early morning departure for an exciting zip line or canopy tour as they are called in Costa Rica. After a brief safety class, you'll be gliding though the tree tops (canopy) of the tropical forest. Then its time lunch, which is followed by the next adventure...white water rafting! Rafting on Class II and III rapids on the Sarapiqui river. After safety instruction by your rafting guide and fitting of rafting gear, you're off to enjoy a nine mile stretch of river, alternatively combining slow moving picturesque scenery peppered with a several level II and III rapids. Day 06
After Breakfast our representative will pick you up at the hotel for the transfer back to the Airport for your flight home.
