Adventure Right In for Tours and Business

This is even more true for wayfaring travelers and eco-tourists who plan to visit southern or central Pacific areas and then explore Guanacaste, or the peaceful Caribbean jungle and beaches. Our mid-country location makes the Inn a convenient stop over when crisscrossing Costa Rica. Our bilingual staff will send you in all directions to enjoy one-day or multi-day tours to the rainforests, soak in the thermal hot springs below an erupting volcano, raft down the rushing warm water of a mountain river, or romance on a sunset cruise on the Nicoya Gulf. Also, having close proximity to bustling San Jose's central market, the casinos, the shopping promenade and the infamous nightlife circuit will round out your vacation.

The Inn enjoys a sunny and breezy setting in the mainly residential neighborhood of Cariari, where the temperate rarely strays beyond 72 and 78 degrees. Its 34 spacious deluxe rooms feature two comfortable queen size orthopedic beds, 60-channel cable TV, private tiled baths and other amenities. Air conditioning too, though it is rarely called for. Suites have private verandas with atmospheric rattan chairs that are shaded by tropical plants. Free wireless Internet access for lap tops will prove invaluable. Guest computers with 24 hour Internet are also available at no charge
Many rooms have outstanding views of Poas Volcano and the inactive Barva Volcano to the north. Room service is available from the Moon Glow Restaurant, and there is a sports bar downstairs. Interior halls boast cathedral ceilings, and the subdued color scheme and the mix of local wood, tile and rattan lend a neo-Colonial feel. Mayan statues, and jungle plants help set your mood to venture out and discover the charms of this tropical land.

Ten minutes from the airport, it is also a good spot for those leaving on a morning flight or a late arrival. Yet it is close enough to the city for an exciting night on the town.

With the 20% discount for cash or travellers checks, your nightly double occupancy deluxe room rate is reduced to US $59 plus 16% tax and this includes an unusual tropical buffet breakfast from 6 to 10 am. You could also have an even larger suite with a Jacuzzi for $20 extra per day.

The Adventure Inn is open 24/7. It is easy to reach by airport taxi all hours. After clearing customs, go with the first person who asks you if you need a taxi. He will take you to a small "Taxi Unidos" booth. Say you are going to the Adventure Inn and pay the fare about $13 dollars. They will assign you a driver. If you keep your receipt, we will credit your account $10, so it costs you little to arrive quickly and safely to our door.
